  Do you love sports helmets? Sports? Well, this is the place for you! Welcome to the Virtual Helmet Museum and Club (VHM)! The previous name was the "Mini Helmet Club", which was started in November 1997 (Actually a loose group was started in early 1996). That was the first club to unite helmet collectors and fans from all over the world, after realizing that the web was a great place for fellow collectors to "meet" and discuss their favorite hobby. It is nice to know there are so many helmet fans out there!  The original Mini Helmet Club was the first web-based club devoted exclusively to the hobby of helmet collecting, creating a fun place for collectors to learn about every aspect of this fine hobby.

Now the club is called the Virtual Helmet Museum and Club (VHM). The focus of this web museum and club is primarily football, hockey, racing, and baseball helmets (both mini and full sized). Helmets are depicted for as many teams/players as possible in various leagues and sports. Currently there are 10,000+ helmet photos!!! So join up and take a look. The intent is to build a photographic history of each team's helmets and other interesting helmet-related items through club member's research and contributions. Nothing is for sale here. Fun club events and activities will take place from time to time such as fantasy sports leagues, chats, message boards, information pages, basically everything and everything to do with helmets! I want to create an enjoyable family-friendly atmosphere for people of all ages, levels of collecting, and nationalities. Please note that when you join, you will automatically receive all the VHM helmet club e-mails which will give you all the latest helmet information!  *You can unsubscribe at any time. Just click on the unsubscribe link on the bottom of any club e-mail or contact the VHM anytime. The web site and mailing list are both part of this free and fun club.
